30:10:11: Revolutionary Norwegian Flood Technology Chosen to Protect Nestlé Factories in Bangkok

Norway – AquaFence is pleased to announce that its flood protection technology has been purchased to protect 520 meters of the area surrounding Nestlé’s factories in Bangkok, Thailand, during the flood currently taking place in that area. AquaFence units were transported from Norway over the weekend via airfreight and were deployed on Sunday, October 30th.



“The residents of Bangkok are suffering a terrible tragedy, and we are happy to be able to help protect the community in any way we can,” says Fred Dahl, CEO, AquaFence AS. “We stand ready to deliver additional units of AquaFence as deemed necessary by the community.” AquaFence units offer many benefits over traditional sand bags such as speed and effectiveness: 25 individuals can deploy 1,000 feet of AquaFence units in one hour. This is 1,000 times faster than sand bagging. Water seepage is a fraction of that seen in sand bag walls. Furthermore, AquaFence is a cost-effective, long-term flood protection solution.



When Nestlé leaders discovered that they would need to protect their factories, they turned to AquaFence for assistance.
