Each site-specific barrier is designed using building plans, elevation drawings, and site visits by AquaFence engineers, then evaluated for its specific flood exposure: flood elevation and duration, wind, ground conditions, seepage, drainage, backflow prevention, pumps, and backup power.

Designs are highly customizable for urban environments, including sidewalks, drainage systems, and alleyways. Every customized solution undergoes detailed engineering analysis to ensure a high level of performance. Complete AquaFence strategies commonly reduce modeled flood risk by 97%.
